Oh wow. I am familiar with that first video and I simply cannot watch it again. It is truly one of the most poignant and heart-wrenching things I have ever seen. The sorrow I feel even writing this is overwhelming. This should be playing on every screen in the world...until all the human animals on the planet go vegan. And then we should feel like crap for a long long time because of our past horribleness. I am so so sorry for that cow.
ReplyDeleteI am heartbroken over these videos, and the love and compassion I feel for these beautiful and precious animals is the reason for transitioning to a vegan diet after many years of being vegetarian.
ReplyDeleteVideos are extremely powerful and desperately need to be seen, even as early as Jr. High.
People should know where the food they choose to eat comes from - if they just see the neatly plastic wrapped cuts of meat in the grocery store, then they're missing the whole picture.
For that, I am truly sorry.
